These custom beaded belts is hand made in Kenya employing centuries old beading tradition of the Maasai community. The leather is highest quality full grain that is vegetable tanned using oak tree extracts. We do not use harmful chemicals such as chromium in the tanning process.
The buckle used in this belt is hand casted from recycled brass.
The beads used are pure glass beads and no plastic is used in our products. The use of vegetable tanned leather, recycled brass and hand stitching makes this the most environmentally sustainable leather belt.
The belt is very long lasting and you will hand it to the next generation.

Knowing your fit
For a good fit, measure your current belt from the hole used to the point where the buckle attaches to the leather in inches. Order the exact measurement. This belt comes with seven holes (usual belts have five) which gives you more room to adjust.

Design

These two are custom made belts
The buckle is attached using a strap fastened with four rivets making it very strong. The use of the strap and rivets makes it easier to replace the buckle without interfering with the belt.
The belt has seven holes spaced one inch apart instead of the traditional five. This gives our belts more flexibility.
